Our first bloggers event of 2017 took place at the VIP launch of Indian restaurant 1580 – proving so popular we were once again trending on Twitter.

In collaboration with Delicious PR, around twenty bloggers headed to the north side of Birmingham to 1580.  Named after the year Francis Drake returned from travelling the Indian ocean, 1580 serves up a contemporary interpretation of classic Indian cooking.

During the evening bloggers were introduced to the restaurant’s style of cooking and promptly took to social media to talk about it.  According to keyhole.co there were over 255 posts on Twitter, reaching an impressive 122,989 people. And at one point was trending in Birmingham, briefly showing above the Great British Bake Off.

The event proved a massive hit amongst our bloggers, especially the food…
